I'm Zay Gordon, a fashion and portrait photographer in Atlanta. I shoot lookbooks, campaigns and editorials, and the occasional family who wants their pictures to feel like a magazine spread.

How a shoot comes together
- 01
Concept
We start with a mood board and a color story. Most of my series are built around one strong color or one location, so we choose that first and plan the wardrobe around it.

Shoot
Studio days run on a single seamless with one or two lights. Location days follow the sun, so call times get set by the light, not the clock.
- 03
Edit
You get a proofing gallery within three days. Final retouched selects are delivered within two weeks, sized for print, web and social.
